Hello everyone,

I'm sending out this message to remind people about why this e-mail list 
exists:

"This list is for discussion of the operation of the Urbana-Champaign 
Independent Media Center."

There are incredibly important causes, events, announcements, and other 
e-mail.  But please, if it is not IMC-related, don't post it to this list 
-- even if it's oh so tempting.  If you would like to announce events, post 
them to the Urbana-Champaign IMC community calendar 
(http://urbana.indymedia.org/active/calendar/).  If you have an 
announcement or cause you would like to forward, write a story and publish 
it on our website (http://urbana.indymedia.org).

It is easy to think that "one more e-mail" won't cause any problems, but 
people are on this list because they have a specific interest in the 
IMC.  Please, only use this list for IMC related business.
