[Imc] Meetings reminder

Here are some upcoming meetings of IMC working groups.  If you're new to 
the IMC, please consider attending a meeting of a group that might interest 
you.  All meetings are open to the public and actively invite the 
participation of all comers.  All meetings are held at the IMC, 218 W. Main 
St. Urbana.

Tonight, Wed. 3/21:
6:30 pm  - IMC Tech: this group is responsible for computer and electronics 
planning, install and maintenance, including the IMC website, network, and 
audio/video.  On tonight's agenda: Network clean-up. Fix some hanging 
cables in the basement, build some shelves in the network closet and get 
hub and router properly installed in there.

7:30pm - Finance/Fundraising: responsible for the funds of the IMC, 
currently working on getting a small retail operation up and running, grant 
writing.


Sat, 3/24,
Time TBA, - IMC Tech working meeting: Set up computers we get from 
Prairienet(?), set up other computers laying around -- install OS, 
configure, check/troubleshoot/swap hardware, connect to network

Sun. 3/25
11:00AM - IMC Outreach: this group is working on increasing the IMC's 
visibility in the community, increasing membership, and networking with 
local community orgs and regional media groups.  On Sunday's agenda: work 
on planning April's IMC Orientation Session, IMC posters/publicity.

12:00 noon - IMC Steering: the group charged with overall IMC policy and 
financial oversight.

1:15pm - IMC Newsroom: this group coordinates IMC news coverage.  Every 
week this group reviews stories that are being worked on, and reviews new 
news to cover.
