Clean out your closets and put those old shoes and purses to good use!

Girlzone is sponsoring an art workshop on March 31st at which girls will make
art from shoes and purses.  Girls will explore the cultural meanings of shoes
and purses, touching on questions (depending on the age group) of being 'grown
up,' prettiness, foot binding, fetishes, etc.  Please donate your old,
worn-out, outlandish, or otherwise embarassing shoes and purses to Girlzone
for this worthy cause.

Urbana-Campaign Independent Media Center, 218 West Main, Urbana
University YMCA, 1001 South Wright, Champaign
