>JOSE LOPEZ:  For over 25 years, Jose Lopez has been a leader in the
>struggle for Puerto Rican independence.  In his role as educator and
>activist, he has been invited to speak at over 30 colleges in the
>U.S., Mexico, and Canada, as well as in international forums such as
>the United Nations Decolonization Committee.  Lopez has written
>extensively on the political and social reality of Puerto Ricans in
>the United States, while serving as Executive Director of the Juan
>Antonio Corretjer Puerto Rican Cultural Center in Chicago, and
