"The Independent Family Newspaper in America: Its Future and Relevance"
symposium, sponsored by the News Gazette and the U of I Department of
Journalism to commemorate their 150th and 75th anniversaries, respectively,
are in need of a media watchdog person to ask tough questions. 

This invitation has not been solicited by the sponsors of the symposium.

The symposium takes place Sept. 8-10 at Krannert.  Registration is free and
