Position Description:

Responsibilities will include:

assisting the provincial and district level health and family 
planning board to establish and operate a radio communication system 
for village midwives.  

Required skills will include:

Radio communication technician
Work experience in developing country

Project Description:

The expected Goal of the project will be to contribute to a reduction 
in maternal and infant morbidity and mortality rates in the 
Indonesian provinces of NTB and NTT.  

The expected purpose of the project will be to increase the capacity 
of the GOI and Indonesian communities to effectively provide and 
utilise maternal and neonatal health and family planning services in 
selected districts of NTB and NTT.  

The project components of the project are likely to be:

Component 1: Women's Health
Component 2: Increased community understanding and support for safe
motherhood, reproductive health, and gender equity Component 3:
Increased community participation Component 4: Project Management and
Integration of services
