Space Meeting Notes (3/20/02):

In attendance: Mike L., Russ R., Sascha M. (Notes), Clint P., Mike W.,
Brian H.

Agenda:

Sound Dampening:  Matt Carley suggested foam batting with canvas covering.
Brief discussion followed.  Problem is funding.  Matt C. took fliers for
shows to "plaster around town."

Safe: Mike L. Has brought in the safe -- just needs access to the
basement.  Mike L. has the "magic number."  It has a slot for drop-offs.
Mike L. gave bill to Sascha, space agreed to pay for the safe (total was
104.45).

Space Rental Request: Monday April 8, 2002 -- a nomadic healing arts group
that specializes in helping progressive groups would like to hold a forum
at the IMC.  Clint P. asked for special dispensation to have space rental
cost waved since the group will need to pass the hat to cover its own
costs -- motion passed by consensus.

Spring Cleaning:  Sascha M. proposed setting a Spring Cleaning date,
letting people know about the date, and cleaning out unused stuff from the
IMC on this date.  Date set for April 7, 2002 -- starting at 1:30.  Clint
will send out e-mails to ALL IMC working groups.  Mike L. will bring the
idea to steering.

Mike L. will mount a bulletin board in the hallway near the production
room for coordinating news.

Clint P. would like to reward staffers for their hard work.  People who
staff the IMC for at least a month will be reimbursed by the General
Business Costs fund up to $6 per calendar month to attend a show. In order
not to short the bands, people are asked to pay up front -- contact Clint
P. (Wednesday shift 4-9 p.m.) for reimbursement.  Passed by consensus by
Space -- pending approval by Steering.
