Given recent experience, the aim of the actually going to the Steering
group to authorize even the beginning of such planning is simply part of
making it clear that we are in the process of establishing a planning
process that everyone can have input into.

Clint (if he doesn't get too discouraged) will be gathering info on the
costs, impact, and possibilities of doing a coffee shop, something that
goes back to the original planning for the IMC. We understand that there
are any number of potential conflicts, etc that could arise from doing
this. A viable plan has to be put together first, then adopted, then
implemented. This in itself will be a relatively long-term process, but
it is important that people participate in it, pro, con, or don't give a
shit, as we go along.

There will be plenty of notice given about when decisions are made, but
I think it would be best that people don't just show up at the last
minute if they have a concern. Express it now, in detail, so that it can
be incorporated into the planning process.
