[Imc] two articles hidden

Paul,
I definitely concur on this and we'll review it Sunday. Of course, we
now have a more thoughful piece of hate from News-gazette columnist John
Leo to replace the two hidden articles.

One thing I noticed is that I get an error message when I click on the
hotlinks on the Mainpage to places such as Website Use Policy and
Website Abuse Abatement Policy. It would be helpful if Tech could get
those working so we can easily refer people to them, as needed.

Also, please note that I have been a bit more aggressive about the
grouping of articles in these spam-laden times, per a trial suggested at
last week's Steering group meeting. I won't be at this Sunday's Steering
group meeting and with the holiday others may also be absent. We will
review how this is working (or not, as the case may be) at the meeting
on June 2 with the idea of moving toward formalizing it.

We currently don't have much in the way of written policy on this, so
this is an experimental arrangement. Nothing is hidden when doing this
and it tends to preserve the local news somewhat better until the
possibility of seperate Newswires is feasible. So far, the whining from
the spammers responsible has been minimal. There exists the possibility
that something could be unfairly grouped, so complaints should be
'thoughtfully' presented if such occurs.
