[IMC] Changnon Honored by Crime Stoppers of Illinois Board of Directors

Marc Changnon, District Coordinator for Career Programs for Champaign Schools, has been honored by Crime Stoppers of Illinois as the 2013 Outstanding Board Member of the Year for Champaign County.

Changnon, who has worked for Champaign Schools since 1998, has been a member of the Champaign County Crime Stoppers Board of Directors since 2009. Changnon has worked on the Crime Stoppers Marketing Committee and has worked to raise awareness of Crime Stoppers in the community, specifically in local schools through the "Call It Safe" Program.

"We are so proud of the work Mr. Changnon has done both within the District and in the community," said Superintendent Dr. Judy Wiegand. "Crime Stoppers is an organization that helps keep our kids and families safe, and we know that Mr. Changnon's commitment to this mission has helped save lives in the community."
