Opening Reception: August 2nd, 7pm-9pm

Unrequited will feature, Quinn Koeneman, a conceptual artist working
largely in the mediums of sculpture and drawing, and sometimes involving
performative interactions with his works. Quinn uses proxemics and social
dynamics to explore concepts of relationships, intimacy, and other social
bonds. Working with materials like pillows, wallpaper, polaroids, and bed
sheets, Quinn creates a level of interaction with the viewer, often
incorporating their relationship to the piece of art into the work itself.
Quinn is a student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he
will be beginning is sophomore year this fall.
