Title: Giving Forward

Gallery hours: M-F 6pm-8pm, Sat-Sun. 12pm-4pm

A group of local watercolor artists are joining together to donate the
proceeds of sales of their artwork to the Chez Family Foundation Center for
Wounded Veterans. The Center is currently under construction at the
University of Illinois at 801 West Nevada, Urbana, IL with a local company;
Broeren Russo Construction Inc. acting as General Contractor. The Center
provides services to the University of Illinois students from all five US
military branches as well as members of the National Guard, Reserves and
eligible dependents.

The artists committed to donating include Rebecca Renwick, Don Lake, Judy
Jones, Bonnie Switzer, Margaret Decardy, Barb England, Barb Ryan, Anu
Murphy, Barb Strauss and Jenny Barrett. This group of artist all share the
common background of being former students of Don Lake during his tenure as
a painting professor at Parkland College. Each artist has a unique style
and will have originals and giclées available for purchase from July 2- 13.
A reception to meet the artist is scheduled for July 11 at 7pm.
