Hi Faith,

The Books to Prisoners website (which can be accessed from ucimc.org >
Projects) includes a donations
page<http://www.books2prisoners.org/donate.php> which
mentions various locations where you can donate books. Those drop sites
are most convenient for people who are donating typical amounts of books
(less than 150 at a time). If you have more than that, or if you need
assistance with your donation, you can bring your (boxed) donations to our
volunteer entrance referenced in the picture below during our public
volunteer hours.

Either way, please be sure to note our donation guidelines so that we can
in fact use all the books you plan to donate.

*High demand topics*
• dictionaries • GED prep • poetry • urban fiction • writing • drawing •
addiction & recovery • history •
• health & exercise • guides to learning a trade (construction etc)

*Please do not donate** (save us the cost and trouble of recycling)*
• encyclopedias • Readers Digest condensed books • Cliff notes • books in
poor condition • pamphlets • reports •
• articles • academic journals • textbooks older than 5 years • moldy,
dusty, poorly stored books • spiral bound textbooks •
• magazines (including National Geographics)

Volunteer Sessions
7:00 - 9:00 PM Tuesdays
2:00 - 4:00 PM Thursdays
2:00 - 4:00 PM Saturdays
