There's an EJP event tonight 6pm with Brian Nelson of the Uptown People's
Law Center, who works largely with those incarcerated and their families.
You can listen to an NPR story with him here

The event is co-sponsored by CUCPJ and First Follwers. It will be hosted by
our own Rep. Carol Ammons. Bring a friend. BD

Is your family member in prison getting the medical care they need? Are you
trying to arrange a transfer? What if you’re having trouble with
visitation?

Come learn how to address these and other concerns on Tuesday Feb. 9 from 6
- 7:30 pm at the Champaign Public Library Room, Robeson Room C. Light
refreshments and child care provided.

The Education Justice Project is proud to co-sponsor this event with State
Representative Carol Ammons, along with the assistance of First Followers
and Champaign Urbana Citizens for Peace and Justice. All are welcome, so
please help spread the word.

Thank you!
Rebecca
