[Imcamericorps] Staffing the Desk

I think if someone wants to staff for 5 hours, they should go for it,
(assuming your supervisor is ok with that). Coverage is not always easy,
but we are doing so much better now that ever before and it's really paying
off. Also, keep your fingers crossed that we will have some interns helping
out on the front desk soon!!

I'm trying to be available for back up, but I worked several weeks-worth of
overtime before you all got to the IMC so I'm taking time in November to
make up for it (the 19th - Dec. 2nd). After the holidays, I will have
better availability to cover for folks. Let me just reiterate how happy I
am that you all are here!

Also, I think that Judith had asked about coverage over Thanksgiving and the
holidays and the best thing to do is probably to figure all of our schedules
out at the next staff meeting and make our decision that way. Having never
had staff before, the IMC doesn't really have any protocol for this, but
we're definitely not expected to work on federal holidays.

See you Monday,

Nicole
