That's a very good reason to get where things are going figured out in
the relatively short term

Yeah, the NW stairwell door is important to making this work as an
alternative when the main space is rented out. There will be some
hardware changes need there. This will also figure into our security
plan as it develops.
If people just need to get in the Production Room or Finance to use it
for IMC stuff, that shouldn't be an issue so long as everybody
understands not to interrupt the people using the main space. We need to
continue that access of course.
But to make a viable alternative meeting space, having the NW stairwell
to the basement entrance easily available and separate from the main
space is important.
