[Imcamericorps] Fwd: [IMC] March 12th Group Volunteer Opportunity Needed

What if we had an event similar to what the Red Cross did, where we had
students compile and distribute information about all our different programs
UC Americorps members are involved in? We could have fliers/handouts for:

WRFU -How to get on the radio/program schedule
Public i -How to get published
Books2Prisoners -Volunteer sessions
C4A -available programs
RPC -available services
University Y -events and volunteer opps
Tech -computer help desk volunteer opps/Makerspace-Tech opps
Bike Shop -volunteer opps, services and open hours
Shows -upcoming events/space rental info/volunteer opps
General IMC brochures

For the project, we would need:
+ Info brochures/pamphlets/fliers from the different Americorps programs
(100-250)
+ Maps for distribution points like campus(town), downtown Champaign,
Urbana, (possibly neighborhoods?) (10-20)
+ Someone to facilitate volunteer greeting, IMC intro, and project
coordination (I volunteer to do this part)

Americorps members would need to have fliers/pamphlets available for distro
by March 12 (Dixon does 100 color double-sided brochures, on nice paper for
$100) University Y might have access to cheaper on-campus printing services,
and I am unfamiliar with the off-site (including C4A) printing budgets and
contacts.
