[Imcamericorps] AmeriCorps Meeting Minutes - May 25, 2011

Hello AmeriCorps members!

Here are the minutes from today's meeting:

- Outreach logs are due June 5th (see Carol's email from May 9th for more details).

- End of the Year Celebration - possibly Friday, Aug 5 in the evening.  AmeriCorps members and community members will be invited.  
	- Food will be served, and we are expected to contribute something.  
	- There will be a slideshow of photos from AmeriCorps events and projects
	- There might be a talent show, although there was some opposition to this idea
	- AmeriCorps members will give a brief (5 mins) informal introduction and summary of their work
	- After much deliberation, the event is tentatively set for Friday, August 5th in the evening.
	- Carol will bake a cake and Sam will decorate it

- AmeriCorps members will be doing more good work next year.  Some might stay for a second year, others will stick around town with other jobs or pursuing education, and several will be dearly missed as they might be going to other states around the country.
