Ian Schwab, who works with the Central Illinois Organizing Project
(CIOP), an ecumenical, faith-based organization in Bloomington which
has been working on Living Wage issues will be at the League of
Women's voters talk. He may introduce himself as he speaks or may
just introduce himself. Please try to identify him and get to know him.

He says that in Bloomington they set the poverty level at the median
rent of a 1-bedroom apartment and assume that is 1/3 of the income
just to get at the poverty line. Am interesting idea. He has sent
me the link to see what this is.
