[Makerspace-keymembers] Makerspace WIFI Update

Does anyone know who the router belongs to, that broadcasts the Makerspace
open wifi signal?

Was this installed by someone from our group, or the IMC as an inclusion of
being a tenant?

I am wondering who responsibility falls on for maintenance of the
equipment.

This might help me respond to this email below.

I let her know I'm free all day today and tomorrow. If the router is
property and the account is of ownership of the IMC I think the preferred
method would be for the IMC to have Volo come in and fix it.

Hi, Kylani,

This is not a bother from you. I am here to help.  I contacted Volo because
that's the company that is contracted to service the system. One of their
reps should know in case there is something important he needs to inform
you about, or he needs to accompany you, and/or has a preferred solution.

The call taker there spoke to Tony, the tech who replaced the plug after
that last break in service that you referenced. Tony wanted a work ticket
made and to know exactly what you want to reset; he was thinking he may be
able to re-set whatever it is, remotely.  Also, he will be giving me a call
back. An appointment may be available today, but if not, it may have to be
tomorrow.
While waiting for Tony's call, I re-read your e-mail and called back to
tell the call taker that you want to reset Makerspace's router. The call
taker asked me to confirm that you know exactly which router belongs to
Makerspace.  I told her I would be making a presumption that you do. (You
and I may not have met --I look forward). So, she will give Tony this
additional information as to what is wanted by you/presumed to be known by
me; and he still will be giving me a call.  After I am contacted again, I
will then contact you.  Do you have any preferred or ideal appointment
times for today and tomorrow?
