I may have to skip ocCUpy meeting in order to attend this meeting in Homer.  Things are being decided on by this tiny little town board in Homer.   Shoud show up in support at the very least.  Saw a lot of yard signs out about this issue.  A lot of broadly based community interest on this one.  I am sure I can catch up on ocCUpy later.

Greetings, 

Tomorrow the Homer Village Board will meet to consider a legal report on the potential to sell water to Sunrise Coal's mine. We anticipate that they will schedule a special meeting for later in the month to discuss the potential sale, but we need your presence to ensure that the the sale does not move forward tomorrow night. The Village of Homer needs to hear that clean water should not be used for washing coal. 

Prairie Rivers Network and local residents believe that selling water to Sunrise would be an enormous and costly undertaking that comes with significant risks to the Village, in addition to potentially negatively impacting water users and resources in the area.
