Look how mean ol' J Street is brazenly taunting poor little AIPAC now, kicking sand in AIPAC's face, stealing AIPAC's lunch money.
Poor little AIPAC. How they suffer!
Isn't it wonderful? What a mitzvah! Mazl tov!
Imagine, now, if Jessica Cisneros and All Her Friends and Relations defeat Henry Cuellar and Nancy Pelosi and AIPAC and the Democratic Establishment and Its Oligarchs in Texas 28 on Tuesday.

No celebration in America will be more raucous than the rejoicing of the JWOTA, the Jews Who Openly Troll AIPAC. #SayTheirName!

It will be like a Hungarian wedding.

The party will go on all night long.

Robert,

Last night -- after battling against an unprecedented $3 million of AIPAC and DMFI spending against her -- J Street-supported candidate Summer Lee triumphed over her AIPAC-backed opponent in Pennsylvania’s 12th District.

She was one of several J Street-backed candidates who won on a night that brought exciting wins and significant lessons for our movement.

The margin in Lee’s race was extremely close, just 446 votes at the most recent count -- with that number likely to grow as final precincts are tallied.

Every dollar and every phone call made a difference. Standing with a wide range of allies, JStreetPAC and our new independent expenditures arm, the J Street Action Fund, helped a principled candidate who supports diplomacy-first American leadership triumph over AIPAC’s largest-ever negative ad blitz.

In Oregon, J Street endorsee Andrea Salinas overcame an unbelievable $13 million in outside spending from billionaire-funded crypto SuperPACs. In North Carolina and Pennsylvania, J Street-supported candidates Cheri Beasley and John Fetterman advanced to the general election in battleground states.

At the same time, we saw the devastating and ominous impact that AIPAC’s overwhelming Democratic primary spending can have. In North Carolina’s 4th district, conservative Don Davis defeated J Street endorsee Erica Smith after AIPAC and their allies spent $2.9 million -- more than both leading candidates’ campaigns combined.

We should take a moment to be proud of our victories, but we also need to get to work. To overcome intensive right-wing attacks and keep electing pro-Israel, pro-peace champions across the country, we need to mobilize like never before.

Next Tuesday, J Street endorsee Jessica Cisneros faces off against AIPAC-supported Congressman Henry Cuellar, who has faced heavy criticism as the last anti-abortion Democrat in the House. We cannot afford to wake up next Wednesday to find out we fell just a few votes short -- we have to leave everything on the field.

Below we highlight four priority primary races in the weeks and months ahead. Please consider an urgent, direct contribution to these campaigns via JStreetPAC to help us fight back >>

These candidates are current and future champions who are likely to face a deluge of right-wing spending and attacks. We cannot let groups like AIPAC -- who simultaneously fundraise for extremist, Trump-aligned Republicans -- decide the future of American politics and foreign policy. We cannot let their right-wing, hawkish vision dominate the Democratic party and threaten the future of Israelis and Palestinians.

As Summer Lee showed us last night: When we stand together, we can win.

 National Political Director, J Street

Four Priority Primaries

Next Tuesday Jessica Cisneros in TX-28 faces off against AIPAC-backed incumbent Henry Cuellar -- the very last anti-choice Democrat in the House of Representatives.

The runoff follows a first round that saw less than 1,000 votes separating the pair. Just like with Lee, polls show Cisneros is on a knife-edge.

Rush a last-minute contribution to help the Cisneros campaign fund more digital ads and turn out every last voter >>

A former social service director and community leader, Ramirez is backed by Emily’s List, Indivisible, Senator Elizabeth Warren and Reps. Chuy Garcia, Lauren Underwood and Jan Schakowsky. If elected, Ramirez will be the first Latina Congresswoman from the Midwest.

Former representative Donna Edwards was one of J Street’s first endorsees, one of the first Democrats to come out in support of President Obama’s Iran deal, and has been a consistent champion for democratic values before leaving Congress in 2017. Now, we’re proud to support her in her race for an open seat against Glenn Ivey, who is receiving AIPAC’s support.

Author of the Two-State Solution Act, Congressman Andy Levin is a champion of Jewish and democratic values and one of J Street’s greatest allies in Congress. Redistricting has forced Levin into a rare incumbent-on-incumbent primary battle against AIPAC endorsee Haley Stevens. AIPAC and DMFI are expected to invest significant resources into defeating Levin, one of the strongest advocates for bold American leadership to end the occupation and secure Israel’s future.
