Okay - Automation updates have begun in earnest, and right now everything is
clean and orderly.

To answer your question Andrew, the Zara library is generated manually, by
dragging files or folders into the Zara playlist, and then saving the
changes as a new playlist (or committing these changes to the open
playlist).

So far, it seems the most efficient way to do this is one song/album at a
time - so, after each addition to the iTunes library, if the file or
album/folder is clean and local, users can just drag the said files/folders
from the G:\iTunes directory to Zara. I've not figured out a way for Zara
to automatically generate a synchronized playlist from iTunes' smart list
entitled "**LOCAL AND CLEAN," but I used this smartlist to create the new
Zara list.
