[rfu-membership] membership form and membership list

When I was sorting mail today, I did come across an old membership form that was designed specifically for rfu. So this has been done at some point in the past. Does anyone know why it was changed to being just an IMC form with rfu as choice? Would making it a totally separate form designed just for us, be something to be taken to the general meeting? It sounds like it might. For now I would like to go ahead with a change to the IMC form -- so that we can get a start on getting a system in place. But the separate form actually sounds like a good idea to me. I agree with Noel that it is a straight forward simple way for us to keep track of who our members are. I am wondering what did not work with it, though, so that it was changed? Is it a reason that still exists?

  That sounds great, Lavana!

I guess one thing that we may want to consider doing is making our own
membership form separate from IMC. That way, it would give us the
flexibility of changing when we needed to. This way, IMC gets one
membership form for records and we get one for our records.

I think keeping things separate as much as possible might be best. We
both need record copies, and perhaps there are times that both groups
are looking for different information.

It looks like you are getting help from Joy, but there's no guarantee
in the future that someone will be available and willing to help if we
need to make a change in the information that we're gathering.
