At the Kids on the Radio Event Oct 29, 2-5 P.M., there will be at least three tables of activities. Which one would you like to volunteer to help with?

  Making Public Service Announcements:
This table will have some samples for kids to read, some suggested topics, and some paper that they can work up what they want say on.

  Introducing a song
This table will have some music to choose from, and some bits of music trivia to say about the songs. Kids can choose a song to take into the studio, introduce and play.

  Making a radio show skit:
I have found some skits that are already written up, so kids can work together to practice a short skit to prepare and then present on the air. We might even have some prerecorded sound effects for them to use.

Some kids may also be bringing a musical instrument to play. They may play on the stage to practice for being on the air. A skit also may practice on stage before going on the air. We currently do not have any plans of using the sound system on the stage, or tying the stage sound system into the radio studio, because we do not have a volunteer who is able to do this. But a volunteer to just help keep things organized on stage would be great.
