The flier mentions transportation from 6-7pm to West Side Park. Our office has rented two busses which will take people from campus to West Side Park at 6:30pm. We are still figuring out WHERE the busses will pick everyone up. So if you send out this announcement, please correct it as below. Transportation updates will be sent out ASAP.
Peace,
Ross

***Champaign-Urbana's Take Back the Night Rally and March***
On April 30th in downtown Champaign, join us to publicly protest the
conditions that cause women to feel unsafe when alone at night on the streets.
The rally begins at 7pm, is open to everyone regardless of gender, and will
include speakers from the U of I campus and the community. The march starts at
8pm. As the march is an opportunity for women to come together to symbolically
reclaim “the night,” it is open to women and transgender persons only. A men’s
dialogue about ways in which men can work to end violence against women will
be held simultaneously with the march. Child care will be provided by CAPP.
Bring signs, bring friends -- let's light up the night together!
