Carl,

You have some great questions which should really pin them down.

Here are some additional ones:

Under what conditions have trees within 5, 15, 30, or 60 feet from
utility lines been removed during the periods 1985-1989, 1990-1994,
1995-2000? In other words, has this policy changed during 1985 to
2000?

Once notice has been given that one or more trees are to removed from
someone's private property, how many days does the property owner have
to appeal this decision?

Do those responsible for vegetation management give any description
to the property owner of the type of pruning that they will carry out?

Who pays the salary of the Line Clearance Administrator and who does
this person report to?

Will Illinois Power agree to having an arborist hired by the county
or city in which the property is contained serve as Line Clearance
Administrator and that this person would report to county authorities?

Will Illinois Power agree to conpensate property owners for the fair
value of the trees that they remove plus the cost of stump removal
with cost determined by a third party?

Jim
