My latest bill from IP had enclosed a 3x6" flyer from
the National Arbor Day Foundation called
"Plant the right tree in the right place".

It suggests planting trees (like redbuds) that grow
less than 25' tall within 20' to either side of
the poles of a powerline, and medium trees (like hawthorns)
that grow less than 40' tall within the next 30'
to either side (total of 50').

The picture also shows a "tree pruning zone" near
the wires, which seems to start at 25' above
ground, and extend about 15' to either side of
the poles.

On the back is an invitation to join and get your
usual 10 free flowering trees (all of which are
short enough to plant under the wires).
