VIP: Senior Citizens Weekly Events!

Hi guys! This is Rachael again, your Senior Citizens director from Volunteer 
Illini Projects! We have lots of very fun events for you this week! Here's what to 
do if you want to go to an event this week: Go to the Union Circle Drive (It is 
off Green St. at the Union) at the time listed below and look for a silver mini 
van right outside the Union. The van will be driven by one of our coordinators. 
The vans' license plates are U 13 706 or U 14 368. Don't be afraid to approach 
and ask the van's driver if they are with VIP if you see a silver mini-van in the 
Union Circle Drive. They will take you to volunteer then drive you back once you 
are finished volunteering. If you have any questions at all, you can email me 
(rgortow2 at illinois.edu) or email the coordinator for the night you want to 
volunteer on (their email addresses are listed below). If you want to be taken 
off this email list, just send me and email (rgortow2 at illinois.edu) telling me 
the email address that you want taken off.

Wednesday (October 28)
Special Event! Halloween Decoration Making 6:00-8:00
ACES Library room 409
Coordinator: Rachael (rgortow2 at illinois.edu)
We will be making decorations for our Halloween Party on Saturday with VIP 
Arts Outreach. This event will take place in the ACES Library, so we WON'T be 
taking the vans anywhere and we WON'T be meeting at the Circle Drive!! Come 
to room 409 in the ACES Library anytime between 6:00-8:00 and help us make 
decorations! The ACES Library is an octagon shaped building located on the 
South Quad near Animal Sciences Laboratory and the new bell tower. If you 
have trouble finding it, call me at (815) 988-0642. You are not required to be 
there the whole time! If you only want to help for five minutes, that's fine! You 
also don't need to be artistic or good at drawing. We had lots of fun with this 
event last time, so come out and help us!

Special Event! Halloween Party 1:00-3:00
Be at the Circle Drive by 12:45

We will be having a Halloween Party at Florida House, an assisted living home. 
We will be playing games and eating food. Costumes are encouraged, but not 
required. Come out and celebrate Halloween with us!

Sunday (November 1) 
Manicures   2:00-3:00
