Hey volunteers! Check out these events organized by Recreation, they need
volunteers!

The Polar Plunge (Saturday, Feb. 27th) is quickly approaching and we are
looking for volunteers to help out at this event.  'Splash' in to the
volunteer spirit at the Polar Plunge! It's an exciting event benefiting
Special Olympics.  What exactly is a Polar Plunge? A Polar Plunge is an
event where participants raise money through donations and then at the
plunge, they jump into the freezing water.  The event is really fun and
raises money for a great cause.

*Volunteer Information*: Volunteers need to arrive by 10: 15am at the Lake
of the Woods site for training. Jobs that we will be doing include:
registration, parking, site clean-up, crowd control, serving lunch and
set-up crew. The entire event will be over by 2:30 pm.  Transportation will
be provided both ways by V.I.P.

Battle of the Bands (Saturday, Feb 27th): Come out and enjoy some of
Champaign's young talent! Come help out with crowd control and security
while listening to bands from the area perform. It's a great volunteer
activity for music lovers, so come out and enjoy! The event goes from
