VIP Special Projects: call for Polar Plunge volunteers

[VIP Special Projects]

Hello everyone,

There are still spots open to work both polar plunge registration events!
Please come have fun with us as we help others prepare to  jump in a
freezing lake for charity!

For both events you are going to need to attend the training session:

*Polar Plunge Registration Training*
*When: Wednesday 2/23, 5-6 pm
Where: 902 N. Country Fair Dr.*
*you are required to attend this if you want to help out at either
registration event.
Transportation: TBD

annddddd the registration events are, in case you forgot:

Polar Plunge: pre-registration party
When: Thursday, February 24, 5:30pm-8pm
Where: Murphy’s, on green street
**training will be required**
Volunteers for this event with help out with registering participants in the

plunge, and collecting their donations. (The Polar Plunge is an event
benefiting Special Olympics Illinois. Participants in the plunge raise
at least $75 each in donations from friends and family, in exchange for
jumping in an icy lake in the middle of winter; all proceeds benefit
Special Olympics Illinois athletes.)
Transportation: On your own/MTD bus service

Polar Plunge: Event Registration
When: Saturday, February 26, 10am-12pm
Where: the Lake in the Woods, in Mahomet
**training will be required*
Volunteers for this event with help out with registering participants in the

plunge, and collecting their donations. (The Polar Plunge is an event
benefiting Special Olympics Illinois. Participants in the plunge raise
at least $75 each in donations from friends and family, in exchange for

Please let me know if you can make the mandatory training, and would like to
volunteer for either of these events!!
