Hi wonderful tutors!!

If you did go to the orientation, please let me know if you are going to start 
going in on a schedule time.
If you missed the orientation, sorry it's taking so long to see what I can do for 
you-- the woman at the DMBGC STILL hasn't gotten back to me on that! So 
sorry!!

If you're interested in helping out homeschooled children from 3:30-5:30 any 
day of the week at Don Moyer Boys and Girls Club.. let me know!!!

*SUNSHINE JUBILEE!!*
Sunshine Jubilee, VIP's annual volunteer recognition event, will be on April 30th 
from 5-7pm in Washington (Frat) Park.  It's going to be a ton of fun-- a way of 
our saying thanks for all your hard work for VIP this year!! Save the date!! Have 
any ideas for food/fun/entertainment?! Let me know!!

*Recycling!!*
VIP Environmental Project is currently trying to start up a Green Street Recycling 
program but first we need some volunteers for the job.  Right now we're 
planning on having a pair of volunteers pick up the recycling twice a week from 
the Za's location on Green Street and take it to the recycling center in 
Champaign, which should take approximately 30 minutes.  If we get plenty of 
volunteers this will be a small time commitment and will be a very easy. 
However, one of the volunteers in each pair will need to have a car and be 
willing to drive, so please let me know if you are interested in helping out with 
this recycling project and whether or not you have a car. (Pickup trucks or SUVs 
would probably be the most convenient.)  Feel free to contact 
Kate Slemer, VIP Recycling Coordinator, @slemer at uiuc.edu if you are 
interested!!
