[Vip-tutoring] VIP Tutoring Special Events

Hi guys!

Special Events let me know that LOTS of volunteers are 
needed March 3rd for two different carnivals.  One of them 
starts earlier and ends earlier (4:40-8pm v. 5:15-8:30pm) 
but they're for the same age group of kids basically so 
please please volunteer!  E-mail me at: amoon at uiuc.edu or 
Courtney at cweisman at uiuc.edu.

ALSO, there is a huuuge event called Read Across America 
that takes place every year at Lincoln Square and this year 
it is Saturday, March 4th.  Last year 700 kids showed up!  
Lots of volunteers are needed for that, so the info is below 
too.  I need to know by Feb 21st if you can make it to that 
one, so please let me know a.s.a.p.

                    CARNIVAL 1 
What?  Westview Elementary School annual Fun Fest!!!  :) 
When?  Friday March 3rd 5:15-8:30pm 
Where? Westview school (Russel and John Streets in 
Champaign) 
***We will be helping with the carnival booths and games!*** 

This should be supder duper fun event! Last year we had 60 
volunteers so lets try and keep up the good work! ;) 

The van will pick up from the union circle drive at 5:15 

                         CARNIVAL 2 
What: Carrie Busey Fun Fest 
When: March 3rd 4:40-8pm meet at the union circle drive at 
4:40pm for transportation 
Where: Carrie Busey k-5 school 

Motivate Kids to Read!!

What: Read Across America
When: Saturday, March 5, 2006
9:00a.m. -3:00p.m. (three shifts of two hours each; 9-11, 11-
1, 1-3)
Where: Lincoln Square in Urbana
