NEWS
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
- We're a smidge late this week. Our bad. With Mertz out of town this
weekend, might be a little late next week as well. :-)

- The illustrious Elise will be spinning not four, not five, not six, not
seven, but EIGHT HOURS this Friday night at Boltini. She's doing her weekly
happy hour set along with covering Mertz's Friday night for him. This
Herculean feat deserves your support so come out any time between 6 pm and 2
am... Boltini has great food and great drinks (and great music) so you can
come for dinner and stumble out the door at the wee hours of the night.

- Chillax returns for the third installment, featuring Geist and RoRo
tagging and the Infinite Imagination doing a chilled out Live PA. There is
no cover at the Highdive on Sundays, $4 bombs, $2 wells and $1 Miller
Highlife Drafts.

- Big ups to everyone that came out and got DOWN when Spinnerty played
Boltini on Friday night. Great times were had by plenty. There's a good
chance the recording of the live set will be up on 217mafia.com tonight.
- Speaking of the site... SIX new mixes were posted this week. If you didn't
get the Electronic Undercurrents CDs at the IMCfest, you can now digitally
download them at http://www.217mafia.com/audio/by/all   This series features
mixes from The Infinite Imagination, Phrotek, two from Geist, Lincoln Jones
and Mertz.

- Just a reminder, if you haven't picked up Mertz's new mix CD, "Back In The
Box," you can get a copy at Exile on Main St in downtown Champaign. This 19
track tech house mix makes a perfect stocking stuffer!

- The Sunday Night Soundsystem will return to live DJ sets this week. DJ
Nhyrvana is the only confirmed performer so far, but expect two other local
DJs to throw down between 7 and 10 pm on WRFU 104.5 FM
