ART FOR SALE

Have you been to Milo’s on the east side of Lincoln Square in Urbana? They
have delicious food (I recommend their roasted vegetable sandwich) and they
have my artwork on display. What a lovely combination. To readers of this
newsletter I am offering any of the paintings or prints that are displayed
there at a discount. This is due in part to the generosity of Milo’s who are
forgoing any commission. Here is the deal:
Through April 10th take 40% off the price that is published on the price
list at Milos. You can pay cash or check; and if you need to make a payment
plan you can contact me directly.

ART CLASSES

COLLAGE FOR THE SOUL – Tuesday, 7 - 9 pm, Mar. 30, April 6, 13, 20, 27th.
Students will learn a variety of collage techniques, including photo and
photocopy transfer, papermaking and manipulation, wax application, and more,
while exploring a particular subject. No art-making experience necessary.
This class is great for creative exploration and for those who want to take
scrapbooking to a new level. Work with your own family photos. $95.

ART WITH INTENTION – Thursday, 2-hour drop in time, 3 - 9 pm. $95 for 5
(2-hour) sessions in 6 weeks.
This class is not group-taught, but is flexible and individually directed to
each of the students. It is an opportunity for adults to explore their
creative voices. Individualized projects will be based on the student's
desire to learn new media such as watercolor or encaustic, gain skill in
drawing or painting, or complete a project such as apencil or oil portrait.
Materials provided.

DRAWING ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BRAIN, Thursday, 6 – 8 pm, April 1 – April
29th. For adults who have always wanted to learn to draw, but felt like they
lacked talent or confidence. This class teaches “realistic” or
“naturalistic” drawing. Students learn that drawing well is really a matter
of learning a new way of seeing. (Youth accepted with permission.)
