Subject: [Bikecoop-announce] nice 2-page Buzz article about...The
BikeProject!

Hello,

Local fame for The Bike Project! At least for the next 6 days.
Just in time for back-to-school, the _Buzz_ weekly newspaper has a great
2-page article on The Bike Project.

Pick up a copy (front-page headline directs you to page 4), or check out
the web version:

Main Buzz page, top story: "Ride On" (this week only)
http://www.readbuzz.com/

Perma-link:
Article, "Ride On: The Bike Project conserves bikes and the environment"

The article encourages new, bike-less students to consider buying a
Bike Project bike. Has nice big photos of various co-op members hard
at work, plus a shot of a big heap of wheels (neatly-organized tools
make boring photos I guess). Josh apparently gave a great interview
to the Buzz reporter (who in return went a full 2 for 3 on correctly
spelling 'Ritchey') -- the article gets across a lot of the DIY,
learning-workshop aspects of the co-op, as well as money-saving and
environmental benefits. The Buzz staff was even kind enough to
correct our website address in the online version when I asked 'em to
(thinking of future Google-sent readers + our Google rank).

This issue of the _The Buzz_ will be in newspaper stands and
restaurants all over town for the coming week (and will probably
stick around a bit longer). Will try and put scans of the clippings
up on the website at some point....

				Cheers,

				Barry
