Hey Bike Project members,

Want a Bike Project shop key?

We'll hold a "Key Class" -- the basic shop security/safety/rules orientation
that's required for keyholders--on Thursday (tomorrow) night at 6:30 pm.
Sorry for the late notice.

If you want a key to the Bike Project shop, you'll need to
   1) take the Key Class.
   2) submit a $20 key deposit (you don't need to pay this night of class, but you
receive the key when you submit the deposit)

 What: Key Class
(Co-op Repair Shop orientation; basic security, rules, safety)
Time: 6:30 pm -- 7:15 pm (class runs 20-30 minutes, followed by key distribution)
 Date: Thursday, April 3, 2008
RSVP: Please mail thebikeproject at gmail.com if you are planning to come, so we
can bring enough spare keys.
Where: Bike Project Co-op repair shop
Location: 202 S. Broadway, Room 24, Urbana, IL (corner of Elm and Broadway)
This is the post office building by Lincoln Square, which now houses the Independent Media Center.
       Enter from "Cherry Alley", which is on the south side of the building;
go down the outside stairs to the lower level

Note that the shop key only gives you access when the IMC building is open.
For 24-hour/365-day access, you need an IMC exterior key. These are distributed by
building manager Chris Evans (contact info. provided in class) and require an
additional $20 deposit.

            Wrench on,

            Barry
