[Bikecoop-announce] Cranksgiving this Saturday: ride + scavenger hunt + food drive

Hello,

Cranksgiving 2017 is happening tomorrow --   Saturday, November 4! 

	Registration starts at noon, and the ride starts at 1 pm at  Bike Project's Downtown Urbana IMC location (202 S. Broadway Ave.).

What - Cranksgiving is a food drive where food is collected by riding around Champaign/Urbana/Savoy and purchasing food at local grocery stores. Riders earn prizes by completing the ride in the fastest time, with the most food. The bike ride is a pick your own route/adventure ride.  Very "alleycat" (there are manifests), kinda scavenger hunt. Also: fun.  Some choose to team up, some  go solo.  Follow your bike bliss.

Where - Meet at the Bike Project: Downtown Urbana (202 S. Broadway Avenue). Registration starts at 12 and the ride starts at 1.

Bring - Bring a bike, a bag to carry your collected food, a lock for when you are in the stores, and at least $5 or however much you would like to spend on food to donate. 

Who - All food donated will go to the Eastern Illinois Food Bank.

Please tell all your friends, the ultimate goal is to collect food for the hungry. Six years ago we set the bar high and collected over 1900lbs of food. Let's try and beat that this year!
