IDF is a member organization of Community Shares of 
Illinois.  Please come out to this wonderful Community 
Shares event described below and help support IDF and 70 
other wonderful non-profit community organization across 
Illinois.

On Tuesday, March 8, 2005, restaurants across Illinois will 
participate in SHARE-A-MEAL with COMMUNITY SHARES OF 
ILLINOIS to help raise funds for dozens of community groups 
working to address homelessness, domestic violence, hunger, 
health care and other issues facing our communities.

You can support ILLINOIS DISCIPLES FOUNDATION, as well as 
dozens of other non-profit organizations by enjoying a 
wonderful meal with family, friends or co-workers.  On 
March 8th, restaurants across Illinois will donate 30%
of their proceeds to Community Shares to support our work 
and the work of other non-profits in Illinois.

In return, the restaurants will donate 30% of their 
proceeds to CommunityShares of Illinois and it’s 
member 
organizations.  So call today and make a reservation!  It's 
an easy way to make a difference and to support restaurants 
that support local charities addressing community needs.

Patrons will also be able to designate a portion of their 
bill to Illinois Disciples Foundation or any of the members 
of Community Shares of Illinois.

Please consider making reservations ahead of time, as waits 
can be quite long on the day of the event without 
reservations.

COMMUNITY SHARES OF ILLINOIS represents over 70 community 
organizations in Illinois working to make our communities a 
better place to live.  Our member groups work to improve 
the quality of life in Illinois by addressing a wide range 
of issues including affordable housing and health
care, the environment and civil rights, social justice, as 
well as other issues affecting women and children, people 
of color, working families, the disabled and poor.   All 
member organizations will benefit from the funds we raise 
with this event, and restaurant patrons will be able to
designate a portion of their donation to a specific 
organization if they so choose.
