The IDF Human Rights Film Series is kicking off with the documentary
SOLDIERS PAY, by David O. Russell, the director of "Three Kings." See
below for more information!

SOLDIERS PAY: Thursday, March 31st, from 7-9pm @ IDF

SOLDIERS PAY is a meditation on the current war in Iraq. David O. Russell,
together with co-filmmakers Tricia Regan and Juan Carlos Zaldivar,
interviewed dozens of people over a six week period, and created a chorus
of voices – including veterans of the war, Iraqis who rose up against
Saddam after the last war and escaped to the US, journalists, politicians,
psychologists, and even a two-star general who led the Marines to victory
in the first Gulf War.

For more information, check out
http://www.truthuncovered.com/soldierspay.html. Joseph T. Miller, a
national coordinator of Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW) and an
academic advisory at the University of Illinois, will facilitate the
discussion following the film.

The Human Rights Film series is cosponsored by: 85% Coalition, Activist
Forum, Amnesty International #124, Anti-War Anti-Racism Effort (AWARE),
Campus Greens, Channing-Murray Foundation, Common Ground Food Cooperative,
El Centro por los Trabajadores, Feminist Majority, McKinley Foundation,
Progressive Resource/Action Cooperative (PRC), South Asian Collective, St.
Patrick’s Catholic Church Social Action Committee, UC Friends Peace and
Service Committee, UC-IMC Steering Group, Vietnam Veterans Against the War
(VVAW), and the Women’s Direct Action Collective (WDAC).

The IDF is a pioneering peace with justice campus ministry. For more
