Recycling of Electronics Day

The cities of Champaign and Urbana along with the Village of Savoy are
holding an Electronics Recycling Event at the City of Champaign Public
Works Department on June 11th. While final plans are still being developed
(and it is possible the date may change) the cities are seeking volunteers
interested in helping with this important recycling event. Volunteers are
asked to be available in 2 hour time increments between 7:30AM and 4PM on
the collection date.

Volunteers are needed to assist with vehicle flow through the collection
event and help people unload the materials they bring to the collection
event. Anyone, especially any environmental groups, interested in
assisting at this collection should contact the Tom Schuh at the City of
