Hi Casey,

There is a group of Ham radio operators in Maryland and Virginia who have
put up ubiquiti equipment to form what they call the Mid-Atlantic IP
Network (MAIPN).

I believe the bigger installations operate in the 5GHz spectrum, so to join
you might need a ham license.
