[CMI-CM] Call for Safety Suggestions

Hey folks,

In the wake of the last couple of weeks, I'd like to put together some contributions from the cycling community for Smile Politely on the theme of "What strategies (or gear) have helped keep you safe? Tell your story." (Thanks to Sue Jones for the idea) Please share your personal examples and stories, and try to focus on keeping things positive - i.e., don't rip on cars/trucks/etc. Your audience will be mostly non-regular bikers, and they'll probably be more likely to follow advice that doesn't put them on the defensive. But I'm only going to be editing for spelling/punctuation/clarity, so don't feel like you need to sanitize.

Ideally, I'd like to combine a bunch of 150-250 word stories to post on Wednesday, so if you're interested, please send me what you have by 7 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday). Thanks, and feel free to shoot me any questions you might have.
