[C-U Smokefree] Updates from the Prez - Study Session rejection

Hi to all supporters,

It was a disappointing evening at City Council
tonight.  Our study session was rejected by a 5 to 4
vote.  Newly elected council member for District 1 and
presumed supporter Gina Jackson switched her vote to
vote against the study session.  

Marci Dodds was voted in office for District 4, and
was presumably a supporter as well, but also voted
against the study session.

Voting in favor were Pirok, Bruno, Rosales and Ennen. 
Voting no were Mayor Schweighart, McIntosh, LaDuc,
Jackson and Dodds.

There was other news - mostly good - but somehow it
doesn't seem relevant at this point.

We have a meeting tomorrow night at 5:30 at Ned
Kelly's for those interested in attending.
