Hi Scott!

My name is Kristin Lupo and I am a member of Colleges Against
Cancer at the U of I.  I attended the Smoke-free study session
in Sept. and became motivated to help pass this ordinance!  

Yesterday there was an advertisement in the DI that asked the
community to write to the City Council of Champaign and voice
our opinions about what's important to us.  Apparently they
are establishing a list of goals for the next 5 yrs and
Smoke-free Champaign needs to be one of them!  This would be a
great opportunity for your organization to talk about
Smoke-free Champaign and why you support it and think the
council should, too.  You can access the survey at...

and get more info!  It's due by Oct. 28th (Friday!) so please
let your organization know asap!  We have already told ours.
