This has already passed in the Senate (Frerichs voted against it on
the grounds that there should be local control because his Danville
constituents were really opposed, and C-U has it already).  The House
will vote on it next.  Frerichs' district office is 355-5252 for
future reference. Naomi Jakobbsen is not listed as a co-sponsor, but I
bet she would vote for it. Her number is 373-5000.

Have you heard all the drama re: rate freeze?  Frerichs and the other
downstaters in the House and Senate are refusing to vote on a
supplemental appropriations bill until they get the freeze passed.  It
is looking like a long summer for us.
