I understand the Chicago wifi group is using/adapting the WiFi hotspot 
software offered by the Austin folks

I imagine that Rich MacKinnon (rich at lessnetworks.com), who attended the 
wireless summit last summer at UIUC would be glad to answer questions 
about it.
