On Tuesday, October 16th at 7 pm, the Independent Media Center will offer a video and discussion of human rights conditions for Palestinians. Jerusalem: An Occupation Set in Stone focuses on the Palestinians of East Jerusalem. They tell of the devastating effects of Israel's attempt to uproot the Palestinian presence from the city, and confirm that these repressive measures increased after the Oslo Peace Process. The film conveys the urgency of a just political solution, made even more poignant following recent terrorism in the U.S. David Green will facilitate a  discussion of Palestinian and Israeli responses to these events following the film.
