Denison Witmer is a young singer/songwriter with a sad, unflinching
eye for confessional detail and a patient, creep up on you brand of
understatement.  His songs are austere, acoustic laments sung in a
deceptively potent wisp of delivery.  Denison's simple lyrics and
pretty guitar work might just grow on you.  He has the ability to
make depressing songs sound uplifting.  His high, sad voice is
reminiscent of the late Nick Drake.  Denison Witmer is touring in
support of his album _Philadelphia Songs_ on Burnt Toast Vinyl.

"Indie rocker Angie Heaton first surfaced in the short-lived Urbana,
Illinois-based trio Corndolly; in the wake of the release of the group's
posthumously issued 1995 eponymous debut LP, she signed on with Liquorette,
appearing on their collection While You Work, I Sleep before finally going
solo with 1996's Calamities and Restitution. Heaton's sophomore effort,
Sparkle, followed in 1998." That's the quote straight outta the All Music
Guide, but most of us probably know Angie better as the lovable Parasolian
who rocks around town, both in the solo acoustic setting (as for this show)
and as the new drummer for Tractor Kings.

DECONSTRUCTING JIM
Deconstructing Jim are a new acoustic duo featuring ex-members of the
short-lived but much-loved local rock band, Lil Nathan Jr.: Jeff Julian
and Matt Yeager.  This show is a warm-up for the upcoming midwestern
tour.

JASON BENTLEY
Opening is Jason Bentley, a fresh face in the local singer/songwriter
scene with a warm, deep voice which is wondeful for his originals, R.E.M.
covers, and more.

All IMC shows are non-smoking and all ages. Non-alcoholic beverages and
snacks will be available.  BYOB if 21+.
