Dear Friends,

Urbana Champaign's Improvisers Summit will feature over 15 local musicians
representing a large spectrum of improvised music.  We'll be presenting
members of UIUC's student "Group for New Music", members of the Noise
Assembly, and Urbana Champaign's resident musicians in new configurations,
and will conclude the evening with a full ensemble piece improvising under
the direction of Jason Finkelman.

Below is a list of confirmed participants:

DAC Crowell - synthesizers + processors
Jay Eychaner - Kawai k5000s synthesizer
Mark Bee - Roland JP-8000, Roland MC-505 Groovebox, Custom multitouchscreen CMI
Ed Hadley -  iBook (samples), aktara, voice, with an FX unit and
Casio VA-10 for treatments.
Christofer Herman - turntable, tape deck
Cyrus Pireh - electric guitar (3 or 4 string, plucked and bowed,
homemade tape delay)
Mark Smart - Chapman Stick
John Ridenour - electric guitar, feedback loops, effects, prepared guitar, etc.
Bill Saylor -  electric bass with optional passive pedal effects.
Matthew Cohn  - guitar, drums, and bass.
David Tcheng - flute, french horn, melodion
David Zielinski - drumset
Jamie Hutchinson - trombone
Brad Blackburn  - Harmonic Canon and bassoon
Ryan Tanaka - piano, keyboards, french horn
Jason Finkelman - berimbau, congas, percussion
Tom Paynter - flute
